SMS consent workflow
Macros for Humans is an invitation-only SMS/MMS nutrition tracking assistant operated by Ouachita Labs LLC. This page documents how participants opt in before their phone number is enrolled.

Enrollment process
- A participant is invited personally by the operator or requests access through Macros for Humans.
- The participant is shown this page or the operator reads the script below before enrollment.
- The participant gives affirmative consent by checking the SMS consent box, replying YES, or verbally saying yes after the disclosure is read.
- Ouachita Labs records the participant's phone number, consent source, and consent timestamp.
- The phone number is added to the application allow-list. The participant can then text meals, food labels, recipes, weight entries, and nutrition questions to the service.
Verbal opt-in script
Macros for Humans by Ouachita Labs LLC can send you SMS/MMS messages for account access, nutrition tracking replies, follow-up questions, and service notices. Message frequency varies based on how often you use the service. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Do you agree to receive these messages at the phone number you provided?
Message examples
- Logged: chicken breast, rice, broccoli, and olive oil: 580 cal, 57g protein, 43g carbs, 19g fat.
- That brings today's total to 1,275 calories: 84g protein, 131g carbs, and 45g fat.
