Macros for Humans SMS
Top-down photo of a chicken, rice, broccoli, and cucumber lunch bowl
Estimated and logged from the photo: chicken, rice, broccoli, cucumber, and yogurt sauce — about 640 cal, 52g protein, 68g carbs, 17g fat.
3:18 PM
coffee at home w 3 tbsp half and half
Logged. 3 tbsp half-and-half in coffee: 60 cal, 1g protein, 2g carbs, 5g fat. That brings today's total to 1,200 calories: 83g protein, 125g carbs, and 40g fat.
6:41 PM
what should I have for dinner to hit my macros?
You have about 900 cal and 77g protein left. Try 180g cooked chicken breast with roasted potatoes and vegetables. A Greek yogurt later would close most of the remaining protein.

A study in friction.

Step 1

Choose monthly or annual, get the 7-day free trial automatically, verify SMS access, and start texting.

Step 2

Tell it the goal.

"I'm cutting at 2,400 cals, 200g protein." It remembers. Adjusts on request.

Step 3

Text. That's it.

Text meals, weights, labels, recipes, or questions. It logs the food and keeps the day moving.

Track with what you know.

Send a photo, describe the meal, or share exact amounts. Use as much detail as you have.

Foreign label? Send the photo.

The useful AI stuff just happens. It can read packaging, translate another language, and look beyond the nutrition database when a product is hard to find.

AI under the hood

It reads, translates, then does the Googling.

Send a label you cannot read. Macros for Humans identifies the product, translates the useful parts, and checks the nutrition database. If there is no confident match, it searches the web for product information and tells you when the result is an estimate.

First Reads the label
Then Translates + checks USDA
If needed Searches the web
This is original-flavor ramune. I could not find a confident USDA match, so I checked the product online. Logged one 200 ml bottle: about 90 cal and 22g carbs.

Web-found nutrition is labeled as an estimate, so you always know what you are logging.

Questions you'll
probably ask.

Is this accurate?

It depends on what you send. Weighed ingredients, labels, and brands make better logs. Vague meals become estimates. You can edit anything.

Why support estimates at all?

Because real life breaks perfect tracking. An unmeasured pastry or latte should not make you abandon the whole day. Estimates are a fallback for consistency, not the core promise.

Who is this for?

Anyone who has been frustrated with counting calories or tracking macros in the past. Send whatever you have: a photo or rough description works, and weights, labels, and brands improve accuracy when available.

What happens to my data?

Your logs are private to your account. You can request deletion whenever you want.

Can I ask about history?

Yes. Ask by text or search the thread.

Does it work on Android?

Yes. It works through standard SMS on Android and iPhone.

Carrier fees?

If your phone plan includes texting, you are covered. Otherwise standard SMS rates apply.

What if I hate it?

Every plan starts with a free 7-day trial. After that, your chosen monthly or annual subscription renews automatically. The annual plan is billed once per year. Deactivate from the account page or text DEACTIVATE ACCOUNT any time.
